Sponsors (2023-2024)

No law review stands alone. We are immensely grateful to be sponsored by the following organisations. With their support, The Review promotes the advancement of the law - one article at a time.

Here are the sponsors (as of 19 February 2024) for Volume VI of the City Law Review.

4 New Square Chambers

A top set of chambers specialising in commercial litigation and professional negligence, 4 New Square Chambers are ranked in 11 disciplines by Chambers and Partners. They are cosily ensconced in the elegant halls of Lincoln's Inn. We are grateful that they have extended their magnanimity to Volumes V and VI of the City Law Review.

The City Law School

Our home institution has kindly supported us through thick and thin, tempest and torrent. The City Law School is the oldest institution in England and Wales to provide vocational training for the English Bar. Apart from providing financial support, affiliated academics kindly review all submissions before they get published (the so-called 'Academic Review' process). They contribute to the rigour of our editorial process.

The City Law School Bar and Mooting Society

A fellow student organisation within the City Law School, the Bar and Mooting Society strives to promote a culture of advocacy (through mooting, amongst other things, no doubt!) in the student cohort. They also have numerous workshops and talks to help students improve their oral delivery skills.

The City Law Society

The City Law Society is one of the largest organisations within the Student Union. They advocate for the interests of all law students within the City Law School, providing career and academic support. We are proud to be in alliance with such a legal Goliath, sharing equally strong convictions in promoting academic and personal development.
